The player-character, Chell, is challenged and taunted by an artificial intelligence named GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System) to complete each puzzle in the Aperture Science Enrichment Center using the portal gun with the promise of receiving cake when all the puzzles are completed. Portal consists primarily of a series of puzzles that must be solved by teleporting the player's character and simple objects using "the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device", often referred to as the "portal gun", a device that can create inter-spatial portals between two flat planes. It was released in a bundle, The Orange Box, for Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and has been since ported to other systems, including Mac OS X, Linux, Android (via Nvidia Shield), and Nintendo Switch. Don't be a sucker - skip this so called game.Portal is a 2007 puzzle- platform game developed and published by Valve. I'll never, ever, give this group another look. And real life is not like this - there is a childhood and a chance to learn good game designers realize this - and in the process build an audience for future games.
A game should in the end, no matter how difficult the task, be fun. The sound track appears to be designed to make you mis-time jumps. There's no chance to learn, and upon each failure you're back to the very beginning.
I gave this game a chance, but it's the equivalent of clubbing baby seals to death - and you're the baby seal. I'm in my 50's, race autos as a hobby and fly planes.
